Baby Merino is an incredibly soft yarn. Merino wool is valued for being soft, warm, and non-scratchy. It has a smooth, matte finish.
Using a single strand, you can knit delicate lace items. It is also excellent for crochet. The yarn has excellent elasticity for ribbing and is great for cables and Aran patterns. For a thicker fabric, it can also be held double.
For colorwork, it pairs perfectly with its companion yarn, Baby Merino PRINT, which has the same high quality but comes in a section-dyed, variegated colorway.
Important Washing Note: If you plan to combine different colors in one project, we recommend pre-washing the yarns before you begin knitting, as some color may bleed during the first wash. To help set the dye, you can use a small amount of vinegar in the first wash.
