With its wonderful blend of 90% merino and 10% silk, this yarn combines the best qualities of both wool and silk fibers. The merino provides warmth, shape retention, and is completely non-scratchy, while the silk lends softness and a beautiful drape to the knitted fabric.

Hand-Dyed Yarn: What does that mean? The yarn is dyed after it has been spun into a finished skein. The dye penetrates the yarn unevenly, meaning the colors are not distributed uniformly. This creates a beautiful, dynamic pattern with color sections of varying lengths.
Care Tip: To help set the dye, we recommend using a small amount of vinegar in the first wash.
